What do I look for when choosing a special needs school for my child?


If you’re looking at this page chances are you’ve already had your child diagnosed or you know what special need your child has. You can have a look at the short description under the name of each school or organisation and this will tell you briefly what they offer. Specific therapies are offered for certain conditions and remedial programs assist learners to work at their preferred pace. Teachers are well trained and specialise in the disability or need required. Schools are also equipped with specialised equipment that may be necessary for interventions in teaching and treatment. Extra murals can be offered and this is great for extra stimulation or therapeutic requirements.
