As numbers of elephants have decreased in the last 100 years from 4 million to roughly 400 000 due to poaching and habitat loss, we are honoured to have saved a few. We are even more thrilled to be able to connect you with Elephants through our unique interactions, so that you might see them for what they are, and therefore think a little bit more about their future, and indeed many other species, in an ever changing and modernising Africa.

What we offer:

Full Educational Interaction

More than just a touch, feed and photo experience. Meet our herd of elephants whilst our experienced carers teach you all about the elephants from trunk tip to tail, as well as their unique personalities, abilities, intelligence, memories, scenting abilities, quirks and much more. You’ll get to meet all the elephant’s and learn all about them in a wonderful connected educational experience.

Duration: Approximately 1 hour

Interaction followed by a Bathing Experience with the elephants

NOT AVAILABLE DURING WINTER MONTHS
This experience is an add-on after the educational interaction or safari, where you accompany the herd up to the top dam to watch the herd swim.

You will have the opportunity to spend some intimate time with some of these majestic elephants in the water, while brushing & bathing them (with a bit of splashing thrown in). There are also great photo opportunities where you can pose with the elephants mud bathing and swimming in the background.

Interaction followed by Nature Walk & Hide and Seek Tracking Experience with the Elephants

Head out with the herd after the interaction to spend a little more time getting to know them a lot better! Here you’ll see the wild side of the elephants as they free-range feed, frolic, drink, dust-bathe and enjoy the 300-hectare wildlife reserve they call home!

In addition we’ll demonstrate the amazing scenting ability of the elephants where you can play hide and seek with the elephants and see if they can track you down!

Elephant Proposal and Sparkling wine set up

Propose in a unique way! Chova, our beautiful bull elephant, will deliver your ring hidden safely in a basket to your fiancé, you will have to do the rest and scrape a knee! Afterward enjoy a few moments together with Chova for photo opportunities as everyone will want to see your special moment together, as well as your fiancés new bling! Afterwards enjoy some private time together with a celebratory bottle of chilled ‘bubbly’ at one of our viewing decks overlooking one of our dams.
